Biography

Elder Mitchell Way was born in Washington, DC and is the second child of the late Bishop Alfonso Way and Mother Helen Way. He was saved at the young age of sixteen. Even then he was characterized by a sincere commitment to God and a desire to live a consecrated and set apart life. His devotion to serve in God's house soon earned him recognition as a Young People's President, an anointed Choir Director and Sunday School Teacher. His thirst for the Word of God and his love of its study enable him to minister, in spite of his youth, with understanding and with power. Under the watchful eye and wise tutelage of his capable father and pastor, and with the help of Almighty God he because an effective, aspiring minister.

In March 1996, the Lord called Elder Way to begin Faith Assembly of Christ on the Pike. The Lord has added to the Church daily such as should be saved. The Vision of the ministry includes, but is not limited to the following: Sasha Bruce House for runaway kids, Youth Ministry, Covenant House for transitional living for men, men’s ministry, women’s ministry, marriage ministry, Saturday church for the youth, Royal Rangers for youth 3 - 11, and GED tutoring and more. Elder Way is not just a Pastor but he is a Pastor with a Heart and a Vision for the people of the church and the community at large.

Elder Mitchell Way is married to his high school sweet heart of more than 34 years the former Nancy L. Cox. Along with her husband they are the parents of two daughters, Lauren and Michelle.

Elder Mitchell Way.... Family Man.... Educator.... Builder.... Counselor.... Entrepreneur.... Churchman.... Teacher.... Preacher ...and  Pastor God's Under-shepherd!!

Now  the Lord has added to his watch Faith Assembly of Christ - Tarboro, NC to God be the Glory for all He is doing...
